Respiratory Therapy

Ellett Memorial Hospital’s respiratory care department’s goal is to restore normal breathing patterns, increase tolerance, and improve quality of life. Our certified Respiratory Therapists identifies the patient’s needs through a comprehensive screening and evaluation process and suggests a course of treatment and/or rehabilitation. They will also educate the patient and family about the condition and teach appropriate disease management techniques, such as breathing exercises and use of medications and respiratory equipment.
